I am certain it is not launch speed, as my comparisons are based on speed of
progress bars and general execution speed after I click a button in a dialog
window that the script generates. A portion of my script processes some
information using regular expressions and uses a progress bar to indicate
how far the processing is. The user interface is generated via dialog
director. I forgot to mention this is under MacOS 9.x.
