Export Audio From QuickTime Player

  • Subject: Export Audio From QuickTime Player

I want to write a script to perform the following

Find an audio CD on the desktop
launch QuickTime Player

for every track on the CD

open the track with QTPlayer (which will likely be more of an 'import' or 'convert' than an open, resulting in a newly created movie.

export the movie (an arbitrary filename is fine) with the following settings:
-Uncompressed
-Sample rate: 48 Khz
-Sample size: 16 bit
-Channels: 2 (stereo)"

close the movie

display dialog "All done."

---------------

I'm looking for some written documentation about the scriptability of QTPlayer under OS 9. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
