Nothing is easier than scripting the Eudora Address Book and it is
extremely flexible allowing for the creation of any number of fields
and the retrieval of data in several ways. Like everything else in
Eudora, the files remain readable as text files and can therefore be
exported in any form you like, parsed in milli-seconds by perl etc.
A lot of work was done a couple of years ago getting the address book
right in Eudora and getting the dictionary right and working
properly, and it is all very straightforward and extremely flexible.
If you find anything obscure in it, perhaps you'll let the list know
exactly what and I'll be happy to demonstrate that your impressions
are illusory.

nickname, including encoded fields
