Have you tried logging out and back in? (Heaven forbid [1]) restart?

Logging out and in did not help. Repairing disk permissions did not help.
At the moment, the major problem seems to be that drag-and-drop does not
work in the Finder at all. I'll try a restart. Anyone know another cure?
I just tried relaunching the Finder. Still no drag-and-drop. And SE is back
to being a folder. (So is every other package in the
Applications/AppleScript folder: Script Menu.menu and Script Runner are also
folders. They always have been, but I don't care much about them.) Maybe
there's something awry with my AppleScript folder?
Anyone got a neat Unix trick?
