I've noticed that with at least a couple of apps, when scripts are
run from the application's script menu, the script does not retain
properties. Is this the fault of the application or is it something
deeper? One of the apps in question is Eudora.

I'm seeing this on OS X but it might also apply to pre-OS X systems
as well. Does anyone have insight on this issue?

yes it does apply to a pre-OS X system here Rob, I use run script alias...
applet in such cases.

I thought that it applied to at least Eudora in OS 9 but I couldn't recall. Thanks for confirming my suspicions. :-)
