I am surprised this is the first report of the problem. I personally
reported this ever since the release of 10.1 to our local Apple
representatives. The problem was, that Mac OS up to version 10.1 did not
support no Tier3 region, including Czech. Jaguar is offering better
support, but still with a lot of smaller or bigger problems, of which the
AppleScript is the most critical for me. This problem affects the whole CE
region (Poland, Czech, Hungary and Slovakia).
The system configuration is the typical plain Mac OS X installation.
I have personally seen the problem on more then 10 different computers
(Power Mac G3, Power Mac G3, iMac CRT, iMac TFT, iBook, PowerBook G3,
PowerBook G4). All fresh new installations.
Here is my step-by-step description how to reproduce the problem. I am
including a series of screenshot. To make things simple, I have created a
webpage in the hopes that it will help you with orientation.
Please go to:

Now also included some comments to the beta of Script Editor.app 2.0
