Is everyone's ScriptingAdditions folder read only?

You can make a ScriptingAdditions folder in /Library/ and another in
/users/username/Library/. In both cases you can add osaxen (if you can find
any to add0 and they are operative in heir respective domains (the computer/
just your user). I use the latter so that i can use Test Users with no
additions. If we very get auto-coercions such as Jon's and Akua provide in
OS 8/9, it will be easy to test with and without this way.
Any scripts placed into any of these ScriptingAdditions folders are
available in ScriptMenu. And, as with other such special folders, you can
get them via AppleScript too:
path to scripting additions from System domain
path to scripting additions from local domain
path to scripting additions from user domain
