I should have added: if you ever need to access these backup MBOX text
files, just double-click them or drag them back into Entourage and they
become regular Entourage folders (mailboxes) with all their messages again.
As I said, you lose only the "links": which message is a reply to which, or
is linked to some contact in the Address Book, etc. Otherwise it's all
there. You can also import these mbox files into Eudora, unix-based email
clients etc. (There was a minor bug with the first release of Entourage
which needed a script to help out the Eudora import, but that was fixed a
year ago with the free SR1 update, and is fine in Entourage X as well.)
