although this will work if you know how to bypass the
permissions, /System isn't normally intended for user-added
items. the standard locations are
/Library/ScriptingAdditions (for all users)
and
~/Library/ScriptingAdditions (for a specific user)
the hitch (and source of some confusion) is these folders
don't exist by default -- you have to create them.
