With the scripting additions, drag then into

/System/Library/ScriptionAdditions/
If your machine is not shared between multiple users, it is usually advised
to copy the Scripting Additions into *your* Library/ScriptingAdditions
folder:
Users/YourUserId/Library/ScriptingAdditions. If the "ScriptingAdditions"
folder does not exist, you have to create it first (which is probably what
misleads many users).
