I'd like to know if it's possible for me to write a script that would assist
me in doing some "load testing" with Quicktime "progressive downloading"
videos.
In particular, is there a way I can write a script that would:
1) Determine the amount of time in milliseconds between when the Quicktime
player asks the server for a Quicktime file, and when it actually receives
it's first packet of information?
2) Determine how long it takes for the playback head to start playing the
video, after it starts receiving the video?
I've heard that there's scripts that permits one to do "traceroutes" - - -
don't know if that would be of help or not in this situation.
