There's another thing where can I get hold of speech "modulation" techniques. I think I saw it a while ago but cant find it for now. The only one I know is [[emph +]]

Searching the Apple Developer site for "emph" turned up this:

<http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/mac/Sound/Sound-200.html>

[[inpt PHON]] is particularly interesting -- it lets you use raw phonemes, so you can say whatever you want however you want. Phonemic input is described on <http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/mac/Sound/Sound-201.html>.
