Setting System date using Applescript

  • Subject: Setting System date using Applescript

We all know how well Applescript can read and get the System date/time
information.

Now for the BIG question. How can one use Applescript to SET the System
date? I mean actually change the System date in MacOS 9 and or MacOSX.
I am sure many could use this information. I will summarize any responses.

Thanks in advance.
