Well, just trying to enhance the precision of some assertions emitted within this thread...

Unless I'm wrong, TID is a global variable created when an AppleScript "session" is "opened" (wathever way such a session gets opened).
And that global variable is given a default value, in the sense that it receives a value when created.
That value is a list with one item: the empty string.

Makes me remind of something.
Haven't tried yet if a multi-items list is now fully handled by AppleScript for its TID.
