I might suggest one. 24U Appearance OSAX for the old OS is now "donation
ware" (and was only $13 when it was shareware). The OS X version is $29, as
you say, but is well worth it, IMO, just for the progress indicator alone.
It has various pricings (some of which are pretty steep, but still worth it)
for bundling with distributed scripts, including Free with free scripts.
