The second was plain-English scripting. None of the shell script/Unix
scripts offers that to the degree AppleScript does. I've never thought this
feature was nearly as important as IAC, but my experience is that the
plain-English scripting thing does have some pluses for many people.
I walked in through the door labelled in plain-english.
English-likeness made it possible for me to think about the task for
long enough to understand the concepts.
My eureka moment came when I realised that I'd understood Knapp!
