AS crash

I've been working with AS 1.7, running OS10.1.5 pretty happily but it
crashed on me today & will not reopen.

I click on the application icon, it starts to open & then passes a
message that it has quit but the other applications are unaffected.

I've reinstalled the Developer Disk programme, run Disk Utility &
restarted but the problem remains. Run Disk Utility, Restarted

Any simple solution?
