Not the reply to the question you asked, but you may be interested: if the Finder's Entire Contents is not fixed (it was not fixed when I last tested, that is with 10.1.5), you can use the "list files" command of the Satimage osax. "list files" is reliable and much faster than Finder's Entire Contents.
