QT5 applescript in QT6 Pro

Hi,
I downloaded the applescripts for QT5 from
http://www.apple.com/applescript/quicktime/ in the hope that they would
work in QT6 pro.
The key ones don't - 'Convert to DV Stream' or 'Save Copy as DV Stream'.
In both cases I get the following error 'Quicktime Player got an error
- A resource wasn't found.'
Exporting an AVI file to a DV stream works fine from within QT6 Pro,
but I can't get the AppleScripts to work.
I'm new to AppleScript, and indeed, to the Mac and am pretty well
stuck. I have around 600 AVI clips to convert and am dreading the day
when I'm forced to convert them manually.
Can anyone please help?
