Anyway, should there be a project to revive HC (the true one, that
from Atkinson/Apple), I would be happy to contribute, even for an
infinitesimal part: it was (is) a too nice thing in the right
direction, even if it could be thought about better but yet
inexistent things.
There's a simple magic message that unlocks the program and allows
you to script it. If anyone can remind me of it, I'd be very
grateful -- I still have HC 2.1 unlocked, but it would be great to
have 2.4.1 unlocked and with the aete into the bargain.
I have to confess I tried to do the same thing when I came to learn,
too late, that HC wasn't supported anymore.
Without success :-(
I've got the commercial copy of HyperCard 2.3 on my machine so I
can't check but I seem to remember that the word "magic" was the
magic word.
