"tell me to activate" or "activate me".
Keep in mind that "me" is the application that the script is running
in. If the script is a script application, or droplet, or an
AppleScript Studio application, then the script is the application; but
if you are running the script from the script menu in some application,
then "me" is that application; if you are running the script from
Script Editor, then Script Editor is the application. (If you are
running the script from the OS X script menu, then I'm not sure what
the application is. I would guess that it's whatever is the current
application, but I wouldn't swear to it.)

Is there anyway a script can refer to itself such as:
this activate or me activate?
Thanks
