I want to use an "osax" for the first time. However, I'm not sure how its supposed to be done (10.2.8). I tried to just drag an osax to the /system/library/scripting additions/ folder, but I got a locked error. I didn't see a scripting additions folder inside my (/user) /library folder. Do I have to go to terminal and copy as root? I would assume there some other way, but I didn't see it. I also want to make sure that the /system/library/scripting additions folder is the correct one to move it to

Create the "scriptingadditions" folder there. Note that there is no space in the folder name. Alternatively, create it in your user library folder if you want only your own account to have access to it.
