This is one of the many special (blessed) folders that you can get "path

Most from Standard Additions, which is one of the places where newcomers

(myself included) should go to divine such things. Some others are:
Yes, but Mr. Tea's point is that it's not listed anywhere. Correct. There
are 3 separate issues here:
1) Script Editor has a ridiculously shortened list of folders in its
Dictionary listing for SA. I just checked SE 2.0. Same. Shameful.
2) Smile and Script Debugger can access the supposed full list. But even
those don't include 'At Ease documents'. There's another 'At Ease
applications folder' also not listed. As Mr. Tea surmises, they were taken
over from the old OS 7/8 (?) At Ease "extra" which first introduced separate
users, etc., when OS 8.5 or thereabouts brought in blessed folders for these
folders.
3) That still leaves out masses of special folders obtainable by using
special 4-character strings. This list is available only on that famous
resource "Chris Nebel's iDisk": I think that's
http://homepage.mac.com/c.nebel/ . try
path to "docs"
for starters.
