Very simple. Enter all your mailing lists such as AppleScript-Users in the
Mailing List Manager (Tools menu). (That's good for all sorts of reasons.
Maybe you do it already.) Then, in your Rule for Auto-Reply, DON'T make the
criterion "All messages". Filter for:

<Is not from a mailing list>

It's pretty straightforward.
