Something to check...
"Program Linking On/Off" (we use File Sharing here, over Local Talk Bridge,
to connect to our PPC7500 print server on our ethernet network) requires
that the application being linked to must be shared or in a shared
directory. One may connect over appletalk or tcp/ip (check box at bottom of
FS set-up in 9).
Are you sure that the applet that you wish to 'link to' (run) on the remote
OS9 machine is, indeed, in a shared volume/folder?
It may also be true that if you are accessing the volume through some other
protocol, the program linking may not (should not?) work.
