Am I understanding you correctly?
Copy every resource from Script Editor into (a copy of) ResEdit preferences.
I have tried that and it just messed up ResEdit so I've restored my saved
backup of the prefs file.
I must say what you suggested was nothing like the process I went through
before to make resource templates. What I remember involved copying an
existing template (TMPL resource), I think, and changing values in that to
control how resources of a desired type were displayed.
Copying everything out of Script Editor's resource fork wouldn't seem to
address the same issue at all. Are you referring to a separate entity called
ScriptEditor, not the Applescript Script Editor?
Please clarify.
