In particular let me know how far you would want the EU/AB synch to
go, since both Eudora and AB allow custom fields.
Is it possible to create and use these custom fields via
AppleScript? If so, pointers to documentation or sample code for
both apps would be greatly appreciated.
I've been stalling on this because our author was dragging his feet
on a couple of bad bugs that have shown up in the "OSUX" versions.
I've given him some strong language this evening and these bugs,
which have been there for many months, are now either fixed or about
to be fixed, so I should get a crash-free version next alpha and be
able to write the whole thing.
It's no use my giving you scripts that are going to crash Eudora, as
they can't help doing at the moment.
I clinched the deal by demonstrating that my scripts work fine with
Eudora 3.1.3 running in Classic -- Apparently the bugs don't manifest
themselves if you boot in OS 9, as he does, so I might try that too.
