Oh. You mean in '95. Yes, you're right, you could not set the AppleScript formatting in Smile then.

I thought that you had used a version of Smile which was able of the AppleScript formatting, so my memory is bad or yours.

Back to the topic, I'm afraid Bob just did not notice that the sample text in Smile's "AS Formats" preferences panel ("Use the text menu to edit the AppleScript format") carries some relevant meaning, so he got lost regarding how to change those formats.
