Hi all,
Yes, Tim is right about the 20/60 rule, however, placing a space between the
concatenated fields causes FMP 6 to "begin the counting" of the chars in the
index all over again.
However, since FM7 indexes are Unicode vs. ASCII (as in FM6), if you've used
this methodology in FM6, you will need to check the validity of your keys
upon conversion to FM7, since the " " (space) is replaced with the Unicode
version, which might yield different results than one expected in FM6.
