strange new error

hi,
I have sent the enclosed message twice, with no response.
Since it is obvious that no one has an answer, could someone please
advise me on a method to troubleshoot this problem.
**** Sample Scripts ****
-- test
display dialog "This is a test."
tell "app Finder"
tell application "Test" to activate
end tell
**** original message ****
If I call an application (script),
tell application "Test" to activate
After the script has completed and the dialog box is responded to I
get an error, "Test got an error: Connection is invalid".
But if I run the script (Test) by it's self I don't get an error.
This is new after updating to 10.3.2.
Has something changed?
