No, but it is about you spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt about a

No, it's about me wanting a very clear explanation from the author of how I
cannot create bogus URLs to do harm with this. Which I haven't gotten yet,
so I keep questioning it. Were I to get this explanation, then the
UNCERTAINTY would be gonce, and since it's the UNCERTAINTY that created the
DOUBT I have about the safety of how this script works, and the FEAR that
it's too easily perverted, and that there's no real way to KEEP it from
being perverted. It's not like I have a competeing product. I've no real
agenda in making people not want to use Missing Link. But I do have to deal
with the results of good ideas that get perverted every day. It makes one
very sensitive to the vibes from certain good ideas. Like people who wanted
to make the OS 9 Disk Utility scriptable. The sheer waves of "THIS IS SUCH A
BAD IDEA" off of that were palpable. It could be my concern is misplaced.
That's very possible. But so far, I've seen nothing to show that. Well,
other than volume, and being called names. Alas, shouting and personal
attacks are really rather useles with me, if nothing else, they say "you've
hit a nerve. This may indeed be a valid concern".
But okay, never mind. Security schemcurity, the emperor really is wearing
Armani.
Once again, I'm Satan. Really. It's okay. I do the job well.
I should really just admit it.
Stubbed your toe? My fault.
Got rear-ended by a silly bint on a cell phone? My fault
Boss dumping on you? My fault.
Anything going wrong in your day? I did it.
I must say that AppleScript has simply been a WONDERFUL tool in the
propogation of evil. Why, I used to have minions that would work for YEARS
on corrupting a saint. So inefficient. Now, I run a couple of scripts, and I
can create a malaise of bad karma that pushes MILLIONS of souls down a few
notches. You'd be amazed at what a snowstorm during spring break can do.
Yours in evil and bad things,
john
