Again, if you don't like it. Don't read it! Trash it! Skip over it! You don't have to be childish about it and criticize someone for simply being a good neighbor. Maybe other people can benefit from the information. I don't see the harm in letting people know about something that can damage their computers. There is nothing stupid in posting a potential problem that can damage peoples' computers through viruses, trojan horses, etc...

If you already know everything there is to know, then skip over the message and move on! I did not post this for everyone, but only for the people that may benefit from it.

Don't be so bitter because someone else is willing to help others while you sit idling by and watch others fail. This does not make for good citizenry (I think this is spelled correctly).

In My Humble Opinion, this whole topic is stupid.
Note that I corrected you misspelled subject line. It's pretty hard to take
someone seriously who makes such hysterical claims and can't hardly write.

Personally, I'm fed up with hearing about all these "Mac Viruses" on every
Mac discussion site. This subject really brings the ignorant out of the
woodwork, and I have yet to find a valid point in all their hysteria.

On a more conversational note and with even less Applescript content, I've
noticed the most alarmist speculation comes from those who fear that this
outbreak somehow brings Mac on par with Windows.

Actually it's pretty ironic. Windows users get viruses on a daily schedule
and don't think twice about it, while Mac users read one report of an
imaginary virus and have a panic attack.

That's why I've shunted all messages with "Safari" in the subject straight
to the trash.
