I wonder why, then, I have as many attachments in my attachments folder
titled as such as have been sent via this list today.
If they are not attachments, as they appear, and they are only in the
attachments folder due to some defect in my email client, it still begs the
question, is it really necessary for list members to digitally sign email
that passes through this list, and should any of us recipients really care
about qualifying their digital signatures? Seems like this list survived
without such dubious security measures before today.
Unless someone who manages this list can explain to me why this is a good
thing, I would respectfully request that such attachments are stripped, or
messages containing them are bounced, as they were before.
JA (who does not miss the day when the world thought it necessary to send a
.vcf card, company logo, and background image with every single email sent)
