No, the server is doing that. My email client both reads and sends
digital
signatures, but I'm still getting these as smime attachments rather
than as
digital sigs (which I do get properly on certain other closed mailing
lists). So either the server is not configured as it should be for all
email
clients which _can_ accept digital certificates, or a mistake has been
made
somewhere. The attachments are tiny (3-6 K each) so I can't see them
being
such an enormous nuisance as all that. The old server used to strip
these.
It would be good if the new one actually handled them well, but either
would
be OK.
Is anyone seeing them as digital sigs? If so, what's your email client

Mail? They're not coming through in Entourage 2004, as they would in
regular
email.
They are appearing in Apple's Mail.app as digital signatures just fine.
You get a field at the top of the message, right under the Cc: field,
that says "Security: Signed".
