The problem is, unless you can verify the source of the sig, et. Al, then
it's useless. Anyone with an OS X box can self-sign, what's that prove?

As well, different email clients handle this differently. Mail just says
it's "signed". Great, so's a forged check. Withought checking on the cert,
it's like a crook saying, "Hey, would I lie to you?"
