As John says, that's a rather cruddy sort of verification that doesn't do
anything more than that. If the digital sig was also _sent_ by Mail (?), it
may be that's it's sending it in a such a way that it's not recognized as a
sig by Entourage 2004. That could mean that Mail does it wrong (how many
would be surprised by that?) or that Entourage 2004 is wrong in not
recognizing it as a sig and telling us it's not trusted, which it is
normally capable of doing.
This may have nothing whatsoever to do with the list server. Could someone
who uses digital sigs in Mail please send me a private email message
digitally signed? I'd like to see if it arrives as a digital sig or as an
smime attachment. Then we'll know if the problem is with Mail/Entourage or
with the list server.
Thanks. When I've received one or two I'll alert the list and it won't be
necessary to send me more. Please scan this thread to see if I've sent a
"halt" already. Thanks.
