I don't have PowerMail, so I don't know whether it's possible. But the two
best tools for seeing UI elements and their hierarchy are Apple's free UI
Element Inspector and PreFab UI Browser. The latter, which I wrote, will
also identify indexes for the reference and generate appropriate GUI
Scripting script statements for you. Free 30-day trial version available at
www.prefab.com/uibrowser/.

Be forewarned that some target applications simply don't implement Apple's
accessibility API and therefore can't be controlled via GUI Scripting.
