Doesn't that mean a "person" object is a record?
Yes, but only in the sense of a "record" in a database, *not* in the
sense of the AppleScript type. As far as AppleScript is concerned,
it's an object. (This is admittedly misleading; I've filed a bug.)
As Mr. Wuellner points out, you could get a record by asking for
"properties of ...", but as Ms. Steiner points out, there are better
ways.
