Acrobat 6 - Page Resizing

Anyone have any information or examples on resizing an Acrobat file?

I need to add a margin around existing files. So, I need to add .5" to each side of each page of the file, but then shrink it back to it's original size.

I have tried several methods to do this using a combination of AppleScript and JavaScript but thanks to the poor documentation, limited AppleScript dictionary and inconsistent results with the setPageBoxes command I am now in a position where I am writing code to split a PDF file into separate files for each page where I will then perform the resize, then reprint the file to shrink to fit.

Any suggestions, examples or adequate documentation would be a big help!
