Also "Normal" users can install applications - in their own user space.

Just because the current account might not have admin rights doesn't mean the
person using it cannot also have an admin account. If your app truly requires
admin rights to be installed, just go ahead. The user will be prompted to
provide an admin user/passphrase combo anyway. No need to reinvent things.
