Automating a link between four applications by twiddling a data file is a
lot more work than straight AppleScript, and only works if all four
applications directly support XML to the same degree.
Oddly enough, not everything that is scriptable thinks in XML, and I would
hesitate calling the automated creation of a seven - hour presentation via
direct XML writing "simple".
