os scripting and Intel ?

perhaps this is not the relevant forum, but anyhow...

1.
i presume that since the OS remains the same ( or just about ) that switching to Intel chippies will not be a scripting problem ?


2.
however; i am still so young that I can remember the Y2000 problems that, as far as I remember, was due to basic computing 'set-up' limitation *and* that apple didnt have that problem, sooooooooo


what other problems can we foresee with Intel

basically; what limitations do Intel chippies have that apple chippies dont have ?
