As far as I know, those who are easy with AppleScript may be exactly those who once read ASLG.

I think that the people at Apple may not be aware that nothing says, in one form or another: "This has been written a long time ago, but AppleScript is not moving - just improving, so that's *still* the basic documentation.", and that users are not enticed to ever open it. AppleScript Studio's documentation seems to be *the* document to read.
