Hi all,
Just posted another update to TextCommands, a free scriptable FBA that provides AppleScripters with a range of useful commands for working with Unicode text:

This version adds the following Unicode-aware commands:
uppercase -- Convert text to uppercase.
lowercase -- Convert text to lowercase.
titlecase -- Convert text to title case.
capitalize -- Capitalize text.
quote -- Format text as an AppleScript literal.
unquote -- Remove AppleScript literal-style formatting from text.
strip -- Strip whitespace or other characters from end(s) of text.
log message -- Log message to Console.
