Hi,
I buried these questions at the end of a longer post, and I'm posting them again because it's looking more and more like the issue has to do with the Mac's sleep state.
I have a script that runs fine when I'm testing it during the day, but at 6 am, when the mac is fast asleep, it generates an error and fails.
Is there an appleScript command that will totally wake up a Mac? and is there an appleScript command that will return the sleep state of the Mac?
> Also, how many stages of sleep does a Mac have? If an appleScript runs while the mac is in deep sleep, is the Mac dreaming?
