I'm surprised you get an error after 6am.

I'm even more surprised that you think the script runs at all.
If the machine is asleep then your script is not going to run. End of story.

You can use the Energy Saver preferences to schedule a wake at 5:59am so
that the machine is running at 6am when you want the script to run.
