I wasn't intending to be insulting, just making the point that this list was created because the MacScripting list was so harsh. In those days there were constant and bitter flame wars that were driving people away. I'd hate to see that happen to this list. New appleScripters need to be supported and nourished, not lectured and scolded. And if Jon is saying that kind of harshness wouldn't be appropriate (and never was appropriate) on the MacScripting list either, I agree.
