QuarkXPress has always had trouble with GUI Scripting.
However, you might try this: When UI Element Inspector shows a UI Element as
<AXUnknown>, you can often script it by referring to it as 'UI element x',
where x is its index number. UI Element Inspector won't tell you what it's
index number is, but PreFab UI Browser will.
<http://www.prefab.com/uibrowser> If there is only one such UI element, of
course, it would be index 1.
