Setting Mail's IMAP path prefix using AppleScript

  • Subject: Setting Mail's IMAP path prefix using AppleScript

I'm working on an AppleScript that configures Mail's IMAP settings for our environment. The sample scripts have been very helpful.

However, there doesn't seem to be anything in Mail's dictionary that allows AppleScript to set the IMAP Path Prefix (Mail > Preferences > Advanced). In our environment, this needs to be set to INBOX.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to do this without having to use GUI scripting, which I'd like to avoid if possible.

Thanks.
