Grossly unfair, as well as a complete misrepresentation of what I wrote. I was simply providing a correction to another poster's mischaracterisation of the AppleScript language as 'not a real programming language' - it is (albeit an unusually designed and often flawed one).
If I criticise AppleScript a lot it's because there's an awful lot about it that's highly deserving of criticism. It also contains a few good design features and a several significant ideas and intentions that I am equally ready to point out as appropriate. (BTW, I will also point out I'm not in a good temper right now, and you snark again at your own risk.)
